Disposition versions
16. Any alteration to a mechanical part or to the structure of a ride shall be performed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. In the absence of a manufacturer, the owner shall obtain from an engineer a certificate attesting that:
(1) he approves the drawings, the calculations and the testing procedures related thereto and that their results are satisfactory;
(2) the ride can safely be put into service for the public following the alterations made.
The registration plate number of the ride shall be specified on the certificate. Furthermore, the owner shall notify the inspector of the nature of such alterations within 2 working days following the end of the work.
